The Coldwater River starts just down the road from the heart of the Coldwater Village where you can stop and pick up refreshments and other products prior to your paddle. This is a scenic and easy route that connects to the North River and Matchedash Bay with a number of different launch point options. There is wildlife galore along this river with many species of ducks and other birds and animals spotted along the way. See the wood duck boxes along the Coldwater River route and an osprey nest at the start of the North River route. If you are an angler, this is also a great opportunity to hook a steelhead or salmon.
